Dump truck adalah sebuah mobil truk bak terbuka yang
digunakan untuk sarana transportasi angkutan keperluan bahan-bahan konstruksi
seperti pasir, kerikil, tanah dan lain-lain. Bak terbuka dump truck dilengkapi
dengan engsel dan piston hidrolik sehingga bak tersebut dapat naik yang
memungkinkan material dalam bak dapat turun ke tanah tempat penyimpanan material.
Di Indonesia banyak sekali dump truck yang dioperasikan untuk keperluan proyek
konstruksi. Mulai dari ukuran kecil yang kecil sampai ukuran yang besar.
